Yanira Casasola, RDHAP Mobile Dental Hygiene Services is a community driven oral health program that provides preventative dental hygiene services in community based settings. With the goal of providing direct access to dental hygiene services within the priority populations.
These dental hygiene services save time and offer a safe and comfortable setting for your participants to receive preventative dental hygiene care by a licensed dental hygiene professional.
Meet your hygienist
Yanira is a bilingual dental health professional with thirteen years of experience in the field. Her career began as a registered dental assistant, in which she had the opportunity to work for several nonprofit organizations centered around providing accessible healthcare for all. Through this exposure she was encouraged to pursue a higher education in dental hygiene in efforts to help bring awareness and oral education to communities. Yanira obtained her Bachelor in Science degree in Dental Hygiene from West Los Angeles College (WLAC) in 2019. She had the opportunity to provided treatment at VA clinics, regional centers, schools, nonprofit and community clinics which persuaded her to go back to school for an extended license. Yanira went onto complete the registered dental hygienist alternative practice (RDHAP) training at WLAC and has been a licensed RDHAP since 2021. Thanks to her advanced training and growing passion for public health she is currently a scholar in the Masters of Public Health (MPHP) graduate program at California State University Northridge.
